Product Description

Viperdet Connector assemblies consist of a length of shock tube with a detonator on each end which is housed in a color-coded connector.

Application

Viperdet Connector series are used to delay detonating cord trunklines.

Features

Delay timing: Available in multiple delays.

Connector: Bi-directional color-coded connectors which allow reliable initiation of the detonating cord trunkline from either direction.

Handling

Do not attach detonators to detonating cord until the blast area has been cleared and secured for the blast.

Use surface delay connectors designed for use with detonating cord.

Do not make loops, kinks, or sharp angles in the cord that might direct the cord back toward the oncoming line of detonation.

UN Classification for Transport and Storage

All explosives must be transported in accordance with relevant local, state and federal regulations

1.1B Transportation Classification
Each case is divided into 6 compartments each containing two bundles of five units.

1.4B Transportation Classification
There are two subpacks in each case, each containing 60 units.
The subpacks are legal shipping containers and may be removed for individual shipping.

UN classification (transport)
Class 1.1B, UN 0360, DETONATOR ASSEMBLIES, NON-ELECTRIC.

Class 1.4B, UN 0361, DETONATOR ASSEMBLIES, NON-ELECTRIC.

Safe Use

  • Never fight explosive fires.
  • Refer to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for first aid information.
  • All explosives must be transported and stored in accordance to relevant regulations.
  • All explosives are classified as dangerous goods and may cause damage to property, personal harm, or death, if not used correctly.
  • Always keep products away from sources of heat, sparks, flame or hot surfaces and avoid mixing with combustibles or incompatible materials.
