Product Description

Viperdet Electric AL units are safe and reliable, providing accurate delay timing. They are resistant to high pressure and are manufactured in three delay-period series: Instant (Z), Micro delay (M), and Long-period delay (D).

Application

Viperdet Electric AL detonators are designed to be used in mining, quarrying, construction and underground applications.

Viperdet Electric AL Micro delays are available in 25 delay periods providing flexibility in short-period blast designs.

Viperdet Electric AL Long-period delays are available in 16 delay periods providing flexibility in long-period blast designs.

Features

Detonator: No. 8 strength fitted with a double crimp which ensures reliable initiation of all cap-sensitive explosives. The delay period of each detonator is stamped on the bottom of the detonator as well as on the identification tag. Color-coded wire for easy identification of delay series.

Shunt cover: Safe and easy to remove.

Label: Water-resistant, highly-visible delay tags.
