21 October 2024 – Johannesburg: Omnia Holdings (Omnia) is proud to announce the rebranding of Protea Mining Chemicals (PMC) under its Mining segment, BME. This strategic move unifies Omnia’s global mining offering under a single, powerful brand, delivering an all-encompassing suite of solutions from blasting to metal processing.
The integration of PMC into BME aligns both divisions more closely, enhancing Omnia’s ability to provide a holistic value proposition that combines world-class explosives and chemical processing solutions. This rebrand reflects Omnia’s dedication to a cohesive, customer-centric approach across its business units, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability, quality, and reliable supply chains.
As part of the rebranding initiative, Omnia’s mining operations will be restructured around two distinct value offerings: BME Blasting Solutions, which focuses on explosives and initiation systems, and BME Metallurgy, which is dedicated to mining chemicals and metallurgical solutions.
